@Captain: So you're saying we should just be able to take 10 shots and then have to make a new one? No matter how powerful the gun would be, having to make a new one every time you die or use 10 shots would be incredibly annoying.

If it was a 10 shot, non-reloadable, 25000 damage, 4000m range instant hit beam cannon that weighed 4 tonnes, using it would be less of a joke.

As it stands right now, there's nothing good about this weapon that can outweigh all of the bad about this weapon.

I never make the concept I do the mission for 2 freebies..way way faster and dinner. Only good thing about the concept is speed and its own power source

No not make a new one each time. Just reload at the station like always. Make it a better long distant shooter with faster traveling ammo, better accuracy at long range and better sniper mode

Repeatedly bumping this isn't going to make it happen. If you have something to add to the discussion / debate, that would be worth the post. Otherwise, it's probably wise to assume the devs have seen it and let them respond as they may.

This is a resuggestion of a suggestion that is over a year old. If rebumping isn't going to help, it's sure as hell not going to hurt. What are they going to do....not implement it? They're already doing that.

I managed to screw up my ankle in Judo the other night. This is relevant, because eventually my ankle will heal and I'll be able to use it again....whereas an expended conc rail will never be useable again. Make them as useful as an ankle!
