Adding Forum access to the Bar in stations. Would add a new level of communication within the game. Make for greater event collaboration. Could be epic.

I agree with tarenty. Gambling in the bar is what we need, and tips on lucrative trade routes or chilly xith-rich 'roids.

Reasons:
1. This gives purpose to the bar.
2a. This would increase forum usage.
2b. Increased forum usage makes game appear more popular.
2c. More people will try it if they think it is popular.
2d. More people is a good thing.

+10 to gambling (esp. on who will get fastest tube times, win CtC/Deneb etc) and "rumour mill" in the Bar

even RP session can become a major immersion breaker, and we also have many ALTs...

+2 to add a bartender, very simple bot able of limited conversations:
... Have memory of past visitors and visits, greeting accordingly (welcome back vs hi stranger)
... Serve virtual booze... just an Icon on screen, for a price
... Offer tips of valuable departing convoys, for a price
... Offer tips on "wanted" people nearby, for a price (bounty hunted)
... Accepts requests/offers of special items, for a price

Make the booze change random words in your chats to others, or slur your chats, or something. Otherwise there's no point

It could fiddle with your FOV, kind of like the LSD plugin.
