Make Stygian Furies more useful.....

I believe its time and also the game need the Stygian Furies to have more participate and be more playlable/useful feature as batlle (pvp/pve) pet bots /escort ......mostly for helping traders....and for that need to stop to have "lifetime restriction" ....and also this.... if killed one of them also dies and the other 2 bots......

This is one most easy thing to can fix and give more interesting/beautyful times in game:)

I thought it might encourage more active use of the Furies when I designed the missions... fewer people going AFK with a Furie in tow and such. You can recall them at any time before the four hours are up at no penalty.

The "one dies, everyone dies" thing is due to the way the mission system interacts with accomplishment flags. I tried every possible avenue I could think of to avoid setting it up this way, but couldn't find any alternative. Some PCC genius may come along and prove me wrong, sometime.

Make them flyable as a stand-alone ship.

My 2c on furies ... they should only damage bots
this is a pvp twitch game you should not be able to kill a player with bots
there is no skill in that

if you want to push a button to kill your enemy go play Eve

Having said that they do need to be easier to control and should not die after 4 hrs but just auto dock

Ever fought a pack of 3 furies, Drevent1? They're as dumb as a brick and probably need all the buffs they can get.

There's no push button killing in sight here.

Since we're on the Suggestions forum and everyone's used to totally wacky stuff that might never get put in the game: Give us Drone Bays like the huge ships in SPAZ can equip. :P

The only way I can think of doing that Phaser is making a separate mission each for a different amount of Stygian Furies

Or dismiss the lifetime restriction or give us drones bases ....noones cant every 3 and half hours to return to Veraci C-4 and start the missions again.....its too annoying....thats why noones use them....lol.....:(

Sorry but i cant understand ....how many years have this mission Phaserlight?
How many players u have see to fly/use them?
If noones uses them....u dont understand WHY?

Gods....mercy ...u ppl .....lol:(

Note: Many traders/miners/builders ragequit why killed so many times and so EASY from pirates/rats AND pirates ragequiting why DONT have so many "targets" to hunt/kill!!!!!!!

and assign them to turrets! their IA is already set up to fire upon anyone who damages their "Master" problem is you'd have to take the mission in Verasi, fly to latos M7, get your cappie, and hope none of your player crew scrapes your docking bay when they enter, or the furies will go crazy on them.

Make them flyable as a stand-alone ship.

or remote-piloted from a capshiip. They look to small to carry a pilot.

I would love it if the mission to take them out included "attack my target" "ignore my target" and/or "treat target as friendly" "treat target as hostile", and even "protect my target" commands.

+1 to CD ...also very good ideas ....

The upgrade of Stygians may can be a new mission tree ......what u say for this?

It'd be nice if they used all their weapons too... I made 3 of these guys on Sunday just to see what all the fuss is about and they only ever fire their Positron blaster. If you check them with an Addon Scanner, they've got 2 Neutrons on there that are just weighing them down.

Ok so the thing where they don't shoot their Neuts is a bug. Ray's saying it'll be fixed in the next update. Yay!

Phaserlight, Check your thread on the PCC boards about this. I think I figured out how to make them not all die at once.

I'd say the weapon fix is an upgrade. Since they fire all their guns now, three of them can lay waste to a Hive Queen in under a minute.

I assume that's after the shield is down, or can they actually pop the shield too?
