Pi-VO

You guys haven't wasted *cough choke* I mean invested time on a port in a record breaking half a year or more so given that my 6 year old Mac finally gave up the ghost and I'm not about to fix it any time soon as the weather is nice and computer funds will be diverted to steaks and beer......

Make Pi-VO!

I will give you $20 and a large pepperoni pizza for Pi-VO (Great value!!)

I'm sure with the Broadcom VideoCore IV it will look as bad or worse than those old intel built in chips and probably max out at like 800x600 but crappy is better than nothing!

If you made a neat Pi Case to go with it you could probably cash in on it even if it was a bad port! , us Pi people like neat cases and a prom or valk Pi case would be something I would be willing to buy ^_^

The RaspberryPi sucks harder than a lot of phones, but there's some other ARM-based hardware coming out that doesn't. Chromebooks for example.

I wonder how hard it'd be to build a Linux ARM binary of the game and extra renderer options for GLX/OpenGL on X11 and EGL/OpenGLES on Wayland? Or how about EGL/OpenGLES on Wayland for X86-64? This is the future! :P

If this happened, I could play VO on my alarm clock.

Chumby?

I actually know the guy at Broadcom who basically invented the Raspberry Pi. But it's a bit too slow for VO ;).

Perhaps you could get a quality android-based refrigerator, and sideload it onto that?

What kind of phone do you have, spence?

my phones an iPhone and I have an iPad but I can't stomach much more than trading or traveling on that

And don't tell me my Pi's are underpowered! They make great arcade consoles, Media players and most recently I made a VMware view thin client out of one so I could work from home after the ol Mac bought the farm.

All it needs now is VO and I don't need a real computer for anything ^_^ lol

"Chumby?"

No, just a Pi, some old PC speakers, a handful of songs, and a cronjob. I still need to build a display and interface for it, but I'm lazy.

Aye, I'm a bit dubious about connecting all these household appliances to the net. You get up, throw a couple of slices in the toaster and wait a while. Nothing happens, so you look at the display.

It says "you are too fat, walk to work, and anyway I'm half way to mining 15.... "

Well, we will ship joystick support on iOS with the next release. So, that's an option..

Any hope of fixing bluetooth keyboard support on iOS? It used to work but since iOS 6 playing on the iPad really sucks. :(

Start renting VO client cloud VMs by the hour with a thin client PI crust that runs on the PI screen and any other light-weight client people might have, maybe as a browser plugin or something.

And what I really mean is please don't spend any time on this. :)

I guess there has to be *one* device VO doesn't run on. Can't wait to see the ensuing scandal.
