Move Latos M7 station to Sedina

Mar 11, 2022 csgno1 link
I think Latos M7 and Latos I-8 being so close together gives too much advantage to capships in an I-8 station battle, where one can be damaged but can repair, renew shields, and be back in the combat in about two minutes (I have not timed it).

I have previously suggested bringing back the old M7 station with the 30k travel to rep, and everyone hated that. I also once suggested just moving the new M7 station 30k out and everyone hated that too. So I thought why not make the arrangement more like Bractus M14/Odia M14 situation, which has facilitated some good fights near the Odia/Bractus WH and also causes a capship that retreats from the station sector to be gone somewhat longer if wanting to come back at full strength.

or move I8 to sedina

I considered that as well, but thinking about the distance of i8 to intrios and c12 to Jallik being the same, I thought I'd suggest moving m7 instead.

I don't think the distance from the nearest system of your nation really makes much of a difference. It's not like you're gonna be hauling from Jallik or Initros much. Moving I8 to Sedina also makes use of the dynamic economy in Latos more time consuming. Right now, I can go to N2, C2 or N15 and almost certainly find any trade item I want. A single in system jump needed. If it's moved to Sedina, I have to pass through B8 and O12 to reach the market. More potential for piracy. I'm a trader, so I don't exactly like pirates, but pirates are a legitimate gameplay style and manuers not having to pass through a wh for trade items makes it...let's say unfair upon the pirates.

Either one moving works for me.

csgno1, can you link the threads where you suggested that M7 be moved back to its original location? I'd like to read the replies.
