Tutorial Addition Suggestion

Seeing as the number one frequently asked question (at least for right now) is "How do I get a new license level," I have a suggestion for how to provide that information to the player in the tutorial.

(Okay, so I never played the tutorial... Probably should have so I'd know what I'm talking about)

-At some point - maybe at the end of the current tutorial, maybe, you get a link to a new mission. Something like:
-1) Practice Combat
-2) Practice Trading
-3) No thank you
-If the player selects option 1, they get a short combat tutorial with basic information: how to find bots, turning flight assist off, etc.
-If the player seclects option 2, they get a short trading tutorial with a basic trade route.
-Upon completing one, they're offered the other.
-Once completed, they're given a "License Level" tutorial. Basically, they learn where to go, that they can't have any missions running, how to tell whether they're eligible or not. At the end, they take the "Tutorial Completion License" which removes the Tutorial from the mission list, and maybe gives them a little "Tutorial" badge or something for free.

As I've said before, I love to help new players get into the game, but I do get tired of answering this question. I went through the trouble of making a set of aliases to put a general list of instructions into bind so I don't have to waste my time (cuz I'm usually fighting bots or something) typing them all over again. If that kind of information could somehow be presented in the tutorial, I think that would cut down the rate of that question being asked quite significantly.

Good ideas, but... I *Just* made a thread on this subject last night (sigh).

Any chance you'd be willing to move your post there and we could get some discussion going?

Well I was considering it, Phaserlight, and it's nothing against you or your thread, but I felt that I really only had one thing to talk about, and it was important enough to at least need to emphasis of a thread of its own.
