Loading/Unloading/Selling Specific Units of Cargo

As Beolach has suggested in his thread "My suggestions..." ( see http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/3/7116#86090 ), it would be very useful to be able to load/unload specific units of cargo within stations.

In particular, I would like to be able to take a Tunguska Mineral Marauder equipped with a Mineral Scanner and a Pentric Mining Beam, mine as few units as possible each of every type of ore, and sell all except one unit each of every kind at the nearest station so that I can check prices at every station.

Currently, I am forced either to jettison all except one unit each of every kind, or to use up unnecessary cargo space when just checking prices. This is inefficient and rather inconvenient.

Allowing specific units of cargo to be loaded/unloaded/sold at stations would make price-checking much more efficient for traders.

Wouldn't it be more efficient to just pick up a phone and call a station and ask what they're purchasing a particular ore or widget for that matter at? There really needs to be a better way, OTHER THEN FLYING TO EVERY STATION, to check prices. The news tab only gives you hints on the uber money spots and most of those are usually killed already anyway. I likes some of the ideas that have been mentioned before like a Miners Almenac, or a Traders Guide to Widgets, where it gave you a weekly perhaps update on who's buying what and at what cost(roughly) on all goods, not just the few that are seen in the "Daily Trade Route" report. Could be put out by the UIT and read by any who trade. Should not be restricted to just in-station for viewing. More like a periodical that you buy and take with into your ship.

I do agree however that there should be a mechanism that allows you to load and unload cargo a single unit at a time.
