maybe music in vendetta was mentioned very often (only seen some of the posts but i can't review millions of posts to find music suggestions)
Because of the fact that everyone wants to listen to other music, the devs could add a player to play your own music. Maybe mp3's from HDD or CD's or from a web-location (like shoutcast stations).
The ambient music in vendetta is really nice ... but we all listend to it millions of times, and when i want to listen to some of my favorite music i got on HDD or webradio i have no vendetta sound at all.

You can listen to any ogg vorbis file already. Just use the /playmusic command. Or /playlist to play a m3u list of ogg vorbis files. They can't use MP3 because they would need to pay licensing fees for every copy of Vendetta distributed in the US.

Is Vendetta even capable of playing audio streams compressed with MP3?

If not, in order to supplement your request, that would have to be added.

I'm aware of the legal ramifications imposed by the patented MP3 "technology." And I'm also aware of the vorbis ogg format being open source and free to use without licensing contracts.

OR you could do what I do. Turn the music off in Vendetta. Turn the music on in your music player!
