game worked fine yesterday but now it crashes to desktop

im having a problem i joined yesterday and play the game for several hours it worked fine now as soon as i launch into space it crashes to desktop i did everything i could updated sound drivers,music drivers im running vista i also updated direct x 9 c so i dunno what to do lol.
any ideas? |

When it crashes, does the bug reporter start up? If not, can you submit a Support ticket and paste the contents of the errors.log file located in the folder where VO is installed right after it crashes before you run VO again (because it overwrites the file when it runs again)?
Also, are you running 32bit Vista or 64bit? And what CPU do you have (how many cores)? |

| Tonight's update fixes a couple of problems. Try this new version (1.8.96) to see if that helps. |
