I have VO set up to pre-load all of it's textures (woohoo 6gb ram!) and if it switches from the "loading textures" screen to the login screen while it's in the background (windowed) sometimes it will grey out and windows will think it's "Not Responding" even though the station is spinning around in the background and the music is playing fine.

In order to get it working again I have to close out of it, then re-open it and make sure it's the foreground window when it finishes loading.

This happens pretty often for me since i'm often doing something else while it loads all of the textures.

I'm running Windows 7 with ATI Radeon X800/X1050 video cards. (Driver version 8.593.100.0 from ATI)

Win7 with nVidia 9800GTX+. (Driver version: 8.17.12.5896 straight from nVidia)

I get the same kind of thing, I let it load in the background and find if I leave it too long after loading when I switch to the login screen it hangs. Normally reading forums on Firefox while it is loading so quite often I am 'too late' to login :(
