Hope somebody can help. I am just starting out trying to play VO. After a few minutes each session my PC crashes completly, with a blank white screen and audio static. I have a PC only a year old, Windows 7 and Intel i3. I don't know much more than that. Are there any settings I should tweak to eliminate the problem? I appreciate any help provided, and if I am not providing enough information to suggest a solution, please let me know.

I'd recommend updating your drivers. Specifically video and chipset drivers.

You might also want to make sure the machine is not overheating. Especially if it's a laptop.

Ziffmoorken, I use Win 7 and VO runs awesome (NVidia). Search problem in your graphic card and/or drivers.
