Aluminium Imac , 24 " dual core extreme.
Dead HD . Just out of garuntee.......
It takes a bit of nerve, but taking that big glass screen off by sticking a clean sink plunger in the middle of the screen and pulling works .
After that its relatively simple.
Nothing to do with VO , but just a confidence boost for mac folk ..... |

| heh, the proper procedure is 2 small suction cups on the top left and bottom right corners but not a bad improvisation |

| Do you need that much force? Or could you place the computer face down on a non-scratchy surface and lift off the body? Just wondering, not going to buy an iMac any time soon. |

The proper procedure would be with a floor-tile puller?
LOL. |
