Is anyone using Linux that is able to cut & paste either into the VO client or out? I am using Ubuntu 6.10 and nothing at all seems to work. I've tried:
middle mouse button
ctrl+c/v
shift+ctrl+c/v
alt+c/v
alt+ctrl+c/v
shift+insert

None of them work. Any ideas?

ctrl-v should work for pasting ..sometimes

I can copy stuff from an xterm that way. but that's about it

Yeah, I think you need to put things into the X paste buffer the usual way (ie: selecting them), then you can get them into the client with <Ctl>-v
