Dreadfully slow !
Can't find an answer here, so here goes -
Very much a newby so please excewse me. I downloaded the free 8-hour trial version, and after 1.5 hours, I'm only halfway-thru the first tutorial ! I move my mouse, the cursor doesn't move for 7 SECONDS ! (I timed it),. from double-clicking on the Vendetta icon - 5 minutes passes before I get into the game (only 6.5 hours to try it left)
Whassappenin ?? ! !
I have dual-boot XP Pro, Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, Asus M/bd, 3GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, Radeon X800 Pro graphics, everything works fine when I'm not in Vendetta, so my question is - wassup ? Please help !

what does this say?
glxinfo | grep "direct rendering"
glxinfo | grep "direct rendering"
(also, the 8-hour trial refers to the amount of in-game time you have, not the amount of real-world time)
What drivers you are using? The open source ones (then it won't work but how you experienced), or the proprietary ATI ones (then it will work)?
