I got 3D Direct Rendering to work (thanks to the voodoo3 variable), and ALSA. But my joysticks are another situation. I got them to show up in /dev/input, but they don't work or show up in Vendetta or ZSNES. Ideas?

BINGO!!! I tried ZSNES as root, the and joysticks showed up!! How can I give myself access to those devices?

I have no joystick group....
