I'm currently running Ubuntu 12.10 on a asus g60vx laptop and when I start the game the game screen is larger than the actual screen. I don't think this is a bug but I have no idea how to fix it.

EDIT: Ok, I got it working in window mode but it's oversized in fullscreen mode.

This is sort of an "is it plugged in?" type of question, but... did you try adjusting the game's resolution to match your system's resolution?

yes I tried that. at any resolution the screen becomes massive and pixly.

Do you happen to have two displays hooked up? Are you trying to run it on the smaller of the two?
