As i have read in a former post this Problem happend to some other ati owners when updating to verison 3.70 of the ati drivers. someone also posted some kind of "solution" which was rather vague. (And didnt cure the problem on this pc). This means, that still vendetta uses Mesa 3d rendering instead of the ati drivers which results in poor perfomance and very ugly graphics. (while other 3d programms (glxgears, tuxracer, neverball) use accelerated graphics)
Just wanted to ask, if someone found a solution to this problem in the meanwhile (put some serious investigation in this, but probably i am too newbie to be able to solve this problem)
would really be pleased, if someone could help me with this issue...

perhaps i should add some more information:
GC: ati radeon 9500 (fglrx driver)
X: version 4.30
Linux Distro: SuSE 9.0

Uninstall mesa and install ati's provided libGL.so?

I have posted a solution in the "Vendetta very slow" thread! :)
