I just tried to install it:
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
But:
Uncompressing Vendetta Online for Linux.................................
Signal caught, cleaning up

It is the second download for now with the same problem...
What could be wrong? I have no idea...

... okay, found the bug... /tmp had not enough free space
./vendetta-linux-installer.sh --target /optherdir worked ;-)

Heheh, doh. That's not a very helpful error message. Shame on you, 'makeself.sh'. Note to self: look into this.
