Post your glxinfo.
I am new to vendetta and have an amd64. I downloaded the trial version and the file linked to (the 64bit "updater" in binary). I am using Suse 10.0 64. As i am quite new to linux, I was wondering if there were any tips or intructions I should follow about installing vendetta and the updater. Thanks for any help!

As long as the x32 install went through, then just replace the binaries and execute.
The most common problems that seem to plague us x64bit (and *nix users in general) is making sure you have all the correct libriaries and drivers, and the OpenGL support functioning.
