To all in the free universe,
The band of outlaws, Cargo Liberation Movement [CLM], has no official claim to Latos or even the popular wormhole sector, Latos H-2. They are operating well outside their ability in attempt to control an entire system. Their recent claim of Latos, in its extreme measure, is a result of fear that they are losing.
We urge pilots to not give in to this violence and piracy. Please call upon the Vipers on channel 4357 for assisted travel through the region.
Any claim of ownership or control of officially unclaimed territory with the intent to restrict or disrupt the free movement of people and cargo will be met with an appropriate response.
Trade lanes remain free for all.

In response to this, just who makes official judgements in greyspace? Certainly not Vipers, nor any nation, and if we are claiming it, then its not unclaimed is it?

Hehe, claiming something as your property only works if ruling factions, or even general populace recognizes your claim and authorizes it. Otherwise, expect to have "trespassers."

While we're nitpicking at grammar:
"in it's extreme measure" is incorrect, it should be "in its extreme measure". It's is shorthand for "it is", its denotes ownership.
But if you meant to use "it is", then that whole line of yours makes no sense at all.

Keep in mind that many players speak english as their second or even third langauge. I'd like to see you guys learn a few languages and then write perfectly in them all. Back to the RP'ing please. Pretend that your universal translator is busted or something.

I can only reiterate that laying claim to any territory in grey is folly. The means to take over and defend any given amount of space are not available; this has been nearly discussed to death in another thread.

Good point, it's impossible for CLM to declare ownership of grey space. Maybe it has been tried and discussed before, but this has some baring to the climate in Latos this coming December. There will be plenty of opposition for those whom declare ownership of space for the purpose of pirating and hindering free trade.
