New Behemoth Graphics

The well-known Behemoth-class transport is the latest to get a major graphical update, carrying your cargo across the galaxy with greater style than ever before.

Game Interface Features

Vendetta Online's open architecture has long allowed player-created "Plugins" to the user interface, permitting technically minded users to experiment with custom interfaces and features.

Recently, we back-propagated some of the more popular plugin features into the main game client, including:

• "Sensor Notification" option in the Nearby Ships tab, enhancing awareness of other ships entering your radar range. Shows nation, guild-tag, ship type and more. Bind-toggleable and configurable.
• "Auto Route" option in the Navigation menu, will automatically plot a course to follow a target, if you are within range to see a target's jump destination.
• "Auto Jettison" in the Cargo tab, will automatically eject selectable types of cargo from your ship.
• The Ship Tab is now available in the flight PDA, permitting Weapon Groups to be modified while in-flight.
• Improved capship turret management, and simple toggling between turrets while maintaining the current selected target, and not altering Turbo status.
• Added /toggleturbo, a bindable command to toggle turbo. The toggle gets cleared when releasing the normal Turbo or Activate keys.

We intend to continue adding some of these small tweaks and improvements when we can, as we approach our launch on Steam.

Android Gamepads

Recent updates have made analog gamepad inputs much "smoother" on Android devices, by using an improved "sensitivity curve". Optionally, you can also switch back to the older "linear" curve, or a "cube-root" alternative curve.

There's also an enhanced "dead-zone" for game controllers, which will hopefully help in cases where the gamepad has an actual manufacturing defect and is sending inputs when "idle" (vertical). Dead zones may also be adjusted in Options, Advanced, Controllers, Calibration.

Other Recent Updates

• Current target is now maintained when launching from a capship.
• Range of the Gatling Cannon HV has been substantially increased.
• Neutron MkIII blasters have been moved to Valent stations, requiring +600 standing.
• Added Buddy Invite and Accept buttons to Comm's Buddy/Group tab.
• Exploitable issues with disconnecting during jump to evade an enemy have been mitigated.
