I have another comp, PII@450 320MB ram, 6GB hd and a voodoo3...

Glide is/was a wonderful thing, but i was thinking, does anyone use it, if so what's it perform like?

P.S. Devs: Do you intend to support glide & 3dfx h/ware or is it (in your eyes) obsolete, i could dig the box out and run some tests etc... =)

i haven't heard of Glide since the day i threw out my Diamond Monster Fusion. back in its day, it performed very well. performed better than direct3d ever has on my system.

We had a glide driver but it fell by the wayside.
We are not planning on supporting glide because it doesn't give us anything that directx or opengl can't give.
