Well now, my first "experience" with a guide was conducted in a nice friendly manner, and I am glad to finally see one on handling some of the talk that goes on late at night, kind of refreshing. While I wont alter my position on the seemingly lack of coverage, but tonight does restore some of my faith that the guides are least, are going in the right direction. The guide was polite in asking me to stop what i was doing(although I was not the one insulting over team chat) as they had already talked to the person.. Keep up the good work and the late night community at least, may turn itself around

ok, 1 people curse and stuff all the time, its when you call people these names that people need to calm down and take a breather, its a game people not your life, well some people it is your life. anywayz... i have talked to a guide 2 times for cursing and stuff, you gotta do it repeatedly and the other person has to take some kind of offense to it. or they can reply with names of there own. either way it takes a lot, some people just joke around with names and stuff so yeah, it is all in judgement. 2 if the guides werent polite do ya think they would be chosen to be guides? im not trying to be a smart alleck here im just saying you dont pick the crazy kid down the street that curses and stuff like that to be a guide, lol

I generally speak to 3-5 players a day about their behavior online. Usually people are cool and take my advice to chill out or even apologize. It's our little secret then. Afterwards I sometimes ask whoever they've annoyed to back down a bit so things can cool off. Much appreciated, dragos.

As said Forum mod, this was the first time I have had experience with a guide, and considering the number of racial, sexual and ethnic insults I see flying about on a daily baises, I figured I would post some congradulations as things seem to be turning around. Although what I would like to see ingame is a way to request a guide outside of the general chat. Something built in, although I can see how it could get abused fairly easly and may cause more problems then it helps :/

People should be more cival in thier chating, at least to the point where they dont harrass, get racial, or whatnot. I find it intresting that I have never had to be guided, and yet I am on the side of darkness. Maybe the forces of good should consider that a bit.

cembandit, I think the fact youve never spoken to a guide might be more on the fact that it seems there isnt 24/7 coverage at the moment(forum mod please correct me if im wrong and there is). As it would be impolite to expand further here and develop a flame war when this is a congradulatory post.

There is not 24/7 guide coverage, that is correct. Keep in mind that the guides are instructed to enforce chat abuse (strong abusive language and excessive spamming) and bug abuse. Some individuals may get up to some behavior that others find annoying, but that isn't prohibited.
