I found out about this game on linuxgames.com a couple of days ago, it sounded interesting and I decided to check it out. I donwloaded it and installed it, went smooth. Crashed in the start. Swore a bit and tried to update my (rather old) Nvidia drivers. Worked like a charm. Drove around a bit in my ship, killed a couple of robots. Swore a bit about the controls (I've not played that many space games before ;) ). Got into Sector 8. Got three big ugly looking rockets in my face, lost my ship which I had invested all my money in (lesson learned! :) ). Killed some more robots, did quite good. Asked some more or less stupid newbie questions and got friendly responses. Attended to a newbie class which tought me the basics and made me understand things I hadn't before. :) (thank you Renegade ++RIP++!). Off to explore the world some more now :).

This seems like an very interesting project. It've browsed through the news and message boards, and it seems like the devs keep us posted on progress and aren't too hesistant to answer player questions. This I really like, keep up the good work, and never ever stop this. I've seen too many mmogs where all players hate the devs because accurate information never comes out. The community seems very friendly so far, and I really like this too, I've seen too many mmogs with bad communities ;).

There's my little "first impressions ramble" :). It's nice to be a part of this testing crew, see you out there :).
