I've just downloaded the vendetta Linux client, but I can't login to play. It always says ,Login incorrect' :( I've tried to change my password on the website several times, but nothing helps.

How can I login to play?

Just like Kasperle, your signup happened at an unfortunate moment while things were out of whack. Your account has been replicated to the game server now, so you should be able to play.

I've just downloaded Vendetta last night, and I couldn't login either. It always told me 'Connection Terminated: connection to server timed out'. So I decided to wait a night, but it still does this. Can anyone tell me how to solve this? Thanks.

You may have the same issue that a1k0n described, but:

If you have firewall software enabled (and you should) try disabling it and running the game. If that works, you will have to manually configure your firewall to allow Vendetta to connect.

Failing that, you could make a new account.

I have all my software firewalls off already... I am using a router with a firewall built in, but I didn't think that would be a problem 'cause I can log on to battle.net and MSN Messenger without any problems. I'll try bypassing it and seeing if that works... If that doesn't work, I'll make a new account.

Oh yeah, I'm using MacOS X.2 if that info helps at all...
[edit] It was my router that was causing the problem. I can connect now, though it is a little inconvenient (I have to go and change the ethernet connections when I want to play). Thanks for all the help! [/edit]
