As stated before, Dagger, if he'd said he was doing this for testing purposes, it would have been fine, but he specifically stated that the purpose of the action was to inspire the wrath of others by destroying the performance of the program. Such justification for the aformentioned actions places his decision squarely into the realm of cracking, and out of the zone of tolerance allowed by the test. He did what he did with full knowledge of the potential consequences, and with stated malicious intent. That's enough to convince me.
