i work on the V manual some... for now my time is sorta short and i'm trying to make the most of it all around. (hunting, fishing, school work, ect) So that leaves less time for computers. I never thought i'd say it, but Rl is slowly pulling me away from this computer. Maybe moving was a good thing.

The attitude of the in-game community is putting me off Vendetta a bit and I would like to see more cap attempts but other than that everything seems ok.

Well, when I say community I mean a few individuals.

arolte, i agree that with missions, it should be more fun. As for balancing, that will be a major step, but eventualy it will be 3.1 all over again. Everything's balanced, but people will still get bored of killing over and over.

Good point, Jimce3k! I agree. Remember people, the devs aren't supposed to keep us entertained. This is an engine build they're developing, not a game. :)

Wait'll missions be implemented. And gameplay is more balanced. Then it'll be fun.

What is Vendetta ICE?

It has been quiet for over a week now and I hear many people complain they are bored. It seems since 3.3 update that not a lot of people are even playing. Most of what I have seen is fighting in sector 16 and hardly anybody is tradeing or even capping. I suspect that the lack of anything to do has had a big impact. Lets face it, killing bots, tradeing or dueling gets old after a while. I myself have slacked off a bit till the missions are implemented but I do check in once in a while and I do check the message boards every day.
I realize I must keep this in perspective and the game is still in it's early stages of development. Haveing beta tested before I know there are times when things seem like they get stale even after a update but the changes that the developers make often are mechanical and behind the scenes. I have said it before, that the game developers are doing it right by takeing time to make sure the final product works right without problems the first time. I have seen too many games get rushed out to the store shelves just it time to take advantage of the latest fad, movie or trend all to make a quick buck. Everyone hates to buy a new game, get it installed only to have it perform miserably and then wait 2 months for patches and updates. Please be patient, only good things can come out of our willingness to stick with the task we accepted by joining this beta test. I look forward to seeing this till the end knowing this will be one of the best ever put out.
