- Selecting npc small ships (Behemoth, etc) that have attached turrets will now target only the ship and not the turrets.

Another "we are listening" series update...

Since we cannot destroy the turrets, then the engine, to capture/immobilize a ship, it was allways more practical to destroy the whole Atlas/Moth than each individual turret. Update 181 fixed that for playwer-owned ships, 182 extends to NPCs.

You know, you can destroy the turrets on NPC moths right? You'll just never hit them with blaster fire. Try rockets.

yes, you can, but WHY?

We cannot destroy the *engines* and turrets to capture a ship, as FreeSpace allows... So it is allways much simpler and faster to destroy whole ship!

Not the same case as capships, when destroying turrets makes safer to tear the tons of armour...

Because they shoot at you and killing them makes it easier to get close and blow the thing up without taking a lot of fire maybe? Behemoth Heavies have a lot of armor, most small interceptors don't and some of them are pretty expensive to repair (Greyhound). The Gatling turrets on those moths do pack a punch.

I agree you should be able to disable the engines and subsystems on capital class ships, but that's off-topic for this thread.
