Hey - I'm working on a guild website, and wanted to have stats availible for my character. Is it possible to get them from the site? In other words, do you have a database online that you draw from, and if so, can we get the stats as well? Maybe an XML feed or summin?

There's the "Your Stats" and "Player Rankings" links to the left and slightly below this post. Is that what you are looking for?

SF does it. Ask him. I believe he pulls the entire player rankings in html every night and runs it through a very advanced parser. I've tried it, adn the Active Players page is doable, but player rankings must be a bit more work...

It's a sql database. Well, there's one on the game server, and it's synched to another one on the site server. And the devs won't open it to us, not even read-only, so don't ask. Just go beg Cale to give you his html parser code which gets it all via html.

We might make something available someday. Not right now though. The whole stats system is going to change, and directly opening up the database will require us thinking through the security aspects of everything and making sure we only expose the proper data. We really don't have the time to spend messing with that right now. But, generally speaking, we're open to pretty much anything if enough people want it to happen.
