Hey, glad to have you onboard. My in game characters are "Defense Ship 4," "SirCamps," and "Bacix Tenra." I'm the leader of one of those escort guilds.

First off, Vendetta has no level/experience system. The "experience" system is stored in your head. This part is like Quake/Unreal (any FPS, really). How well can you aim and fire. How fast are your reflexes. Right now, it's all about money and reputation (standing) with the community.

You start out with a basic ship, it can carry one small weapon and 6 cargo slots, as well as having 6000 armor. With money, you can buy ships that can carry 16 cargo, have up to 4 small weapons and/or 2 large weapons, and have 18000 armor.

You get money/credits three ways. The first way is botting. Each NPC that you kill gains you 75 credits. You can pick up little purple cargo "widgets" that the bots drop for money as well (ranging from 300 to 1000 credits). The second way to gain money is trading. Quite simply, you buy goods where they are produced and sell them at a place where demand is high (generally farther away, at least a couple of sector jumps). The third way is bounty hunting/player killing. This is the most risky, and should only be done by experienced pilots. You get a really mean fighter and go around shooting up other players. Each player will get you at least 40 credits minimum, in addition to extra bounty and cargo. However, this will harm your reputation in the community.

What's the world like? Here's an idea, shoot up robots until you can afford a Centurion equipped with a medium engine and fast charge battery [and whatever weapon you like, but preferably gauss cannon]. Fly around all the sectors and get a feel for them. Do some exploring. We have no less than four hidden sectors in the game (unmarked wormholes). Inside them are the most profitable trade routes. Note: Stay out of enemy home sectors. The defense robots are unbelievable strong and will take down the most experienced pilot.

The difference between the gold, red, and blue races. Right now, the biggest differences are ship choices.

The gold (Neutral Territories) have the Neutral Maurader. It can carry 16 cargo widgets, has decent armor, and a hefty armament (3 small weapons). It's best for trading and pirating.

The red (Serco Dominion) have the Serco Prometheus. With 18000 armor, it's the heaviest ship in the game, and its fast for its size. It can carry 12 (not sure here) cargo widgets, and has two small ports and one large port (it's a heavy bomber).

The blue (Itani) have the Itani Valkyrie. Aside from being the fastest ship in the game, it is also has the best weapon load out for a ship of its agility. With three small ports and the ability to outrun any other ship, it shines in quick raids and surprise attacks. However, it can only carry 3 cargo widgets, and its hull is 10000, so care must be taken with the ship.

Again, glad to have you onboard. I look forward to seeing you in game.

I've found this game today, looked at the screenshots and it looks cool :)

But i can't seem to find info about how the game actually works anywhere. Can you guys please answer a few questions ? :) pweeease? :D

- How do you gain stuff? if at all? Is it like some Level system/experience system? or is it all about the money.

- I read somewhere that you start out in a small plane, how do i eventually end up in a big huge cruiser?

- How do you get money/credits?

- What's the world like? I've checked out a few clan pages, all of them seem to be charging money for escort, is that really necesary?

- What's the difference between the gold, red and blue races?

That'll be it for now i think....

Please help me out ya all :) I'll play this game when i get home because i can't get it to download from my office. Damn firewalls :D

Greetz,
MooMin.

ok... first off:

right now the economy is s***y cause of an update and reset being awaited by all

a reset is a total character restart from scratch. we lose all our money and all our inventories (ships, cargo ect.)

there is no experience system you gain experience by killing players and bots which improves your score. im really good at killing bots but i cant kill a player to save my life... gain money by taking cargo that you get from killing bots and selling it at the nearest station. after that you can go and buy cargo (under the buy screen while docked under the station) and sell it at another station in another sector. (ex: cargo from s4 to s7 gives you more money than what you bought the cargo for)

you use money to buy better ships weapons power cells, and engines

trade for money and credits (explained above)

dont worry about escorting when the reset happens then people will begin to escort for free again and most players will get "convoys" to trade and make large amounts of money with...

(blue) the itani: special ship is the valk, very political, mostly for noobs who then choose to go to gold, or serco to be themselves

(red) the serco: special ship is the prometheus, pirates and noob killers, primarily the serco is an attractive place for KAW (kill at will) people cause red is good color for a KAW player, no known political leadership (though that may change in the future...)

(gold) the nuetrals: special ship is the marauder, wide range of players on this team: pirates not common but some do exist, little to no goverment (politics), quiet players, traders (money makers) and botters are common.

if you have more questions just ask...

-io

(most of the last question was IMO= in my opinion)
