I hate people who settle for "it is what it is". Wait, hate is a strong word.
It isn't what it is. Things can and do change. In fact! Did you know, it was me who suggested that border defences get stronger and have turrets because I found piracy too easy?
Suck it wally you dick.

"Last week, some TGFTers claimed they are winning and having a positive KDA ratio, and they're barely affected by the conflict with SKV... guess finally the truth is coming out."
You keep lumping us all together, just how often do you see Bo in the forum or on the chat?
There are and have been bullies inside TGFT just as much as any other guild. This has nothing to do with TGFT SKVs war

@joeGalloway
You keep lumping us all together
You are all together and claim to be proud members of TGFT united against 'slander' your guild is under.
We are not clairvoyant to be able see if there are actually several different TGFT guilds under one TGFT tag.

I fly under the ITAN flag as well... You going to shoot that alt too because one of my many is in TGFT?
Better start gearing up, you have alot of alts to shoot.

Good job, yoda. You deserve a medal.
I know I'm pretty irritable right now. I haven't slept much, and I spent the entire past week doing player-administration cleanup BS, communicating with affected players over email, and writing scripts to hunt through terabytes of compressed logs.. instead of anything resembling "game development". And I still have a lot of this fun stuff left to do.
But, even without my arguably colored lenses, I would still be annoyed that this furie thing has been such a "big deal" that.. no one ever posted it to Bugs, or attempted to elevate the issue at all.. until 12:30 this morning when someone finally submitted a support ticket. Ray and I immediately discussed it over email, and we're going to check it out. But if someone hadn't waited until after midnight on a Saturday morning, we would have made an effort to get it fixed in this last patch.
I just quickly scanned every earlier support ticket and post relating to furies, and no one brought up the Trident thing. There were some notes about aggro concerns buried in some older Suggestions threads, but nothing to really imply "hey! this is a big deal!".
Much like Phaserlight, I thought we actually nerfed collision damage as a way to aggro some NPCs. At least, I do remember that. But, Ray would have to check the code to see what's up. Maybe it was a specific change (certain npcs), or a half-assed change that didn't work right, or has subsequently been broken by some other change (it happens), or it may not impact Tridents the same as fighters (capships are basically "flying stations" and have a different codepath).
But anyway, here's the thing people: We're really, really busy, and focused on big-picture stuff like "keeping the server online" (and 1.9 goals).. even when we aren't doing stupid stuff like analyzing logs of every player-kill for the past year. If there is some sort of nasty exploitable circumstance that is causing people great pain, you need to elevate the profile and report it. Or, alternatively, nothing will happen.
I've never been a fan of these kinds of threads, that proclaim how great things used to be, and how terrible they are now, and how sad we all are. The melodrama-to-value ratio is pretty low, especially when a lot of the complaints are.. inaccurate. But, I am even less of a fan when they're filled with guild politics. I am really, really not interested in who your guild does not like. Keep that on RP and off of General.
I do care about fixing actual problems in the game, but strip out all the politics and BS, or the issue may be so clouded that I just get annoyed and stop reading.
Anyway, I hereby declare the value of this thread to be low enough to lock it.
