Exactly - Camps:

Kid's point is that if the flag does someting, wouldn't any object floating in space that needed to be taken from point A to point B do the same thing? Yeah. and those could be mission items. all in all, fairly important. But number 3 is a grat idea.

It does really matter if we can explain why it's important (maybe it is that there will be objects in the future that use the same code even if it's not the flag). But Ray thought it was important. There are definately times to put ones self interest aside and help further this game as a whole. It's one thing if you didn't beleive him, but if you still wouldn't do it after reading Raybondo's post...

I agree, Eldrad. HOWEVER, there is a game aspect to this "Vendetta Test," as someone posted in another thread (I forgot it, but it was an excellent definition). We shoot each other up, etc. Durgia was getting really harassed, and then all of a sudden said "stop I'm testing a bug." Oooh really? Why should we believe him? He could have told us what he was testing. If "TESTING!!!" is to become a magic word, then combat should be taken out.

My point is, if you're gonna test, give people reason not to shoot you. I would gladly have left him alone if he had given me reason to. His word isn't good enough--anyone can say they're testing. If he was truly testing, then he could have switched chars to do it.

Actually the bug first occured on that char and still had the bugged object so I needed to be on that char. I thought "Pls, don't kill me I am testing a bug for the devs" was enough explanation, if you don't believe that much why would you believe the rest of what I say?

I guess I could have come on at a later time, but I didn't and should not have to work around players whims to test a bug. This is a game test and the primary duty is to test things.

Anyways this thread is getting pointless as we just keep repeating ourselves
