/me still wants to see some real pirates not those pathetic wimps who couldn't make money if you gave them a salary, nor the annoying "homicidal maniacs." We need some skilled, good, clever, conniving pirates who are after cargo not pks, and can let there ego's go to the wind and actually make money from pirating alone.

What is a pirate? I think you people have romanticized the concept of the pirate. A pirate is not the honorable man only after booty. He's got a big ego, too, and is a murderer. For lack of a better example, observe the lyrics of PotC:

Burnin and sacking and all that good stuff. A pirate is just someone who goes around blowin up the lesser ships and putting a fight or rudder to the better ones. You people want honorable pirates, which is an oxymoron, I'm 'fraid. You have pirates right now, you just want new and improved ones, that aren't really pirates at all.

Pirates generally just want the best possible for themselves, and nothing else.

However, the _usual_ PK "pirates" don't have that ego part. Some do, and I applaud them, cause it is much more entertaining.
