Weeeeee, time for guides!

Anyhow, why are no more guides planned? I remember when guides were implimented into the engine and it was a big todo. They ought to pick up a couple more from wherever they found you (the vendetta ancient history museum?) and stick 'em in there.

Personally i think we need guides. Several people are bypassing the chat filter.
Ex: Bl (space) ah instead of Blah

or bl.ah.
I would suggest that the guides mute the character "Stress," who was doing this over and over, insulting Blitz, Israelis, and other minorities. /ignore is there, but these people should not be tolerated.

Yes, I was on my red character and saw Stress using inappropriate language in the team chat.

How Christmasy! I'm on as much as I can be (and more often than you think) and will look out for this. The devs will need to fill in for the rest of the time. To the best of my knowledge, no more guides are planned.
For the record: The chat filter exists for people who do not wish to hear "casual swearing" ("The weapon is a piece of ****").
Deliberately circumventing the filter is not permitted.
Seriously verbally abusing a player is NEVER permitted ("KrAbNo0bU1A is a piece of ****"). Obviously the actual word would be in place of the asterisks. I would ask that people try to have a little bit of a thick skin. If somebody calls you a jerk or poopyhead, tell your mom.

Not to start a flamewar, SirCamps, but Blitz isn't exactly an angel either. He's been using racial slurs and just being immature overall. If anyone deserves a little mud slinging, it'd have to be him. But I agree, Stress is also another one a dem type of people.
The guide thing was kinda stuck together with twigs and gum and not well implemented. It's also a lot of power, with potentially a lot of potential for havoc. The sort of guide position I hold will not be in the actual game, though "mentor" players might be.

Only the weak minded hide behind /ignore. I myself only use it if the chat is being repeatedly spammed.
