For everything you've done with this game. It's been wonderful playing, discussing and enjoying Vendetta. Your creativity, dedication, skills/expertise and your ability to incorporate suggestions has been wonderful to witness. Good luck with whatever road you choose to walk in the future and thank you for sharing your dream with us,

I hope it's not over. It CANNOT end this way. It's not freakin' right. There is nothing more that I can add to "Eldrad's" statement. Well said, dude. BUT....lets not give up so soon......

I have been with the game since it was only deathmatch and CTF in 2 sectors and I'm amazed on how far it has grown. It is by far the best 3D space game I ever have had the joy of playing. It really is a shame some shortsighted publishers can't see the true potential of the game and are really interested in how many $$$ they can make instead. The developers have been great in working with the players and each update made the already great game even better. I thank you for all the hard work and sacrifice and I hope it's not the end, but if it is, it has been a fun ride.

We've all had a fantastic time testing Vendetta TEST.
I wish you the best of luck, devs. Keep it goin', ya. You're bound to find a publisher sometime... right?

It was a good run. It's a shame that markets don't always favor quality, the best technology, or even necessarily the product that people want. Sometimes they just favor chance.

Best of luck to you in the future. I'm not suprised at what happened, because publishers are idiots, but I for one believed in both the devs and the product.

Merry Christmas

Yes, thanks to you devs for making such an awsome game. It's a shame the publishers wouldn't take you. This project has the potential to become a very sucessfull game. I don't know what they were thinking.

Good luck. And happy holidays.

Here's a Benjamin of Christmas cheer for you guys, and a wish for Vendetta to continue. If perchance it should not, and Guild Software be disbanded, know that it's been a great run, and I wish you luck and success in whatever endeavour you should undertake.

Merry Christmas

Everybody go buy one lotto ticket tonight, between all of us we should be able to make enough off lotto tickets to keep guild moving!

BTW this is by far the most fun I have ever had testing or playing any game. I really hope you can keep it going and either way thanks for all the hard work, time and money you have spent making such an enjoyable game, even if it is just a test.

PS I bought a ticket for the 12.5mil lotto on friday. If I win I will will keep you going! Everybody wish for me to win:)

I'm sad that you haven't been able to find a publisher yet. Maybe if there was some kind of World War II theme involved? (joke)

In all honesty, this is by far the best game (sorry, evolving test) I have played in a long time. It has captivated me for almost a year, and is probably the reason why I finished university with a 1/2 honors degree and not 1/1! I first joined a few days after the 3.2.0 release, and quickly fell in love. Over that time I watched an engine evolve and a community grow. You patiently listened to our 'requests' (which sounded suspiciously like demands some times) and reacted in a professional manner. I have the upmost respect for everything you have accomplished. Being involved in a creative industry myself, I know how hard and soul destroying it can be when others don't see what you see...

I hope the near future bring events which enable you to continue to chase your dreams and see them solidify. You need to keep keeping on.

best wishes,

I've not been active as long as many, I joined right after 3.2.x, I don't remember which one.

Since I started, I think I've played more of Vendetta than anything else. If you can keep going, rest assured taht the community will support you, and we will do whatever it takes to keep Vendetta alive!

I've been playing since 3.0.x. I've seen a lot, and I hope to see a lot more. It won't end now because it can't. This game WILL continue. We will go on.

I've been playing....well, i dunno, but it's been about a year since i joined i figure and well, this game although it has many faults and is no where near completion, already has enough gameplay value to keep it going for so much longer. It's a shame i neither have no money donate, or am able to. Believe me if i had enough money i would no doubtly give enough to keep this going to the end. But well, it looks like you guys might not be able to keep the game around much longer. If you do, great, i'll start looking for way to gather money to donate. If you don't, well, I had a fun time and i'm sure the rest of us did as well. So whatever happens, we'll back ya up.

I've been playing since 2.6 or 2.7. I forget when. Two sectors with a spawning one is what I remember. 15 minute death match. Except for America's Army, this is the only game I really play. Thanks for letting us be a part of Vendetta, guys. It really was an honor to take part.

im not a terribly old player nor a totally new player but from what i can see this game has great potential, hell if i had the money i would fund the creators just so i could play it even if it dint make a lot of money or any at all. unfortunately im not rich and i dont have money at all, but if this game does survive this money problem im sure this game will hit it big. if it goes to its death i will be right there next to it...
