/me finds out he has 8 buttons that do absolutly nothing


How do I program my joystick so certain buttons do stuff? Like target enemies, or strafe?

Find what Vendetta calls the individual buttons. Without an interactive mapping utility, this can be tough though. Is there any way to get raw input from the stick into a document, just to score button names off of?

Bind the buttons just as you do with keyboard keys.

Options->Controls->Keyboard

I dont understand the EXACT thing they've said up there^^^ but what I did was simply instal the thing, go ingame, press ESC, go to OPtions, Controls, then Keyboard/(somthing) and highlight the operations I wanted the thing to perform:'

Boost= TAB, \, JOYSTIK2
Fire Primary= Space, JOYSTIK0
Target Closest Hostile= r, JOYSTIK4
Activate= Enter, JOYSTIK1

You get teh idea...I hope

Me? I got the Microsoft Sidewinder.

Raybondo did it as a bind though, I did it under the menu screen. Either way works though...

I have a Mac and a PC, but I cant find a JS for a Mac thats anything even worth buying for under $100, everything else just isnt equipped to handle Vendetta.

Are any of you guys mac types? I reallly want a joystick, but there just aren't any good ones that I know of for mac and this game. Thoughts?

Logitech wingman strikeforce 3d r0r0rz on my b0x0rz. 'course it doesn't work right in Vendetta. :( Oh well, keyboard and mouse are good for now.

for Mac try the m/s (ugh) sidwinder, it works fine

/me uses a Thrustmaster Afterburner II, it works pretty well in Vendetta, and is compatible with both Vendetta and Mac

The Saitek Cyborg Gold (USB) is the one you want, Sally. On sale, you can get them for $15. They are adjustable for lefties too. :)
