A system of 'Honor' could never really be expected in any game. People always use it as an excuse to have an upfront battle, so it isn't just atm.

Actually, as long as we go one about fighting against people who fight with honor (also known as people who fight within 100 meters) What are your favorite builds against them? I personally build my valk with dual rail and a single gemini. By the time i run out of ammo the enemy IS dead now.(when i reach 10 ammo per rail i switch to individual rail fire)

'ey!! That's my loadout!! But yeah, if my target can't dodge, I'll put heaters in the third slot. If they can, I put in gauss or sunflare. Nothing like boosting into single flares thinking they don't do much damage. When you turn to run, you get at least 3 rail hits.

personally i like long range fights more, i dont enjoy close combat, because i crash and then it makes fighting more difficult. i and carmen ibanez have fought many times and i enjoy much more the long range battles in which we both seem to get each other more often. however, i will not say that close combat is a bad thing, i have fought eldrad a few times and i have to admit that fighting close range against eldy is not a bad thing.

calling someone a coward because of long range preference is just saddening to my ears

i agree with spectre. i go up close for the occasional tentative pass, but mostly i remain at greater distances (what with using tachs).
i haven't been yelled at because of my backpedaling in the face of a gauss vult since alien, tho...
