Q: When vendetta is released to mainstream, will all of us "Vendetta Test" players have to pay for it?

Q: Do the "Vendetta Test" players get anything special, like kool weapons or hulls only obtainable by more highly skilled players, or special missions or race tracks, if they are not removed?

Q: Will you have to pay every month (eg. Everquest) or will it be buy the software then have access to the servers (eg. Quake 3, Starcaft)?

Q: Will you keep Linux/Mac support?

I don't know what we'll do. We would like to do some sort of "thank you" thing for our testers and people who donated, but I'm not sure what form it will take. Right now the big focus is working out the particulars of finishing the game, and ironing out the production schedule. I mean.. we aren't even sure exactly how we're going to handle billing for the game yet, as it depends in part on publisher input. So, until some point in the future, I'm just going to vaguely say "we'll do something!".

Q : Will the testing ever move in to more of a standard beta testing-like situation? (I. E not as many testers, testers have to meet certain requirements, etc...)

To answer all the questions: When Vendetta is released, testers will have to buy it again, but there will be no monthly fee. It will be released as Dance Dance Space Bass Fishing 2004, and run only on the XBox.

-What makes you think the old players will be any better than the new? If anything, the first crop of new players will be more mature and care about the game since they actually PAID money for it.

heh, this is true magus, however if the devs were to select from those of us who allready know how to play so that we could pass along our knowledge of how to play, they could boot off anyone who wasn't a paying member if that person decided to just be a greifer/jerk.

It would be cool if people from the test that do buy the game got a little star or medal beside their names to show "the next generation" that we have played the test and whatnot so are not run of the mill "noobs"

I like that idea Durgia. Some special decals and a special, "vet guild" would be cool too. Although I doubt many of the vets would want to be in the same guild together. We might need three or four vet guilds.
