I'm not so curious about updates of information as I'm pissed at the attack on FM. He has gently reminded EVERYONE that information will be forthcoming when the devs have time to present it. Now, randomize didn't just ask a question, he tossed in a barb implying that the devs were falling down on the job.
The in-progress and this board itself are extras that the devs threw in to elicite discussion of features and problems...to make demands for content from the devs is ludicrous.
Those in-game, reading chat know what's going on...there are problems and they are working on them. Maybe, when they take their sore elbows and wrists from their keyboards after fixing the problems they'll rub on some Ben-gay and let you know what's next.

--> He was satisfied / or happy with the answer he got and was hoping on some goodwill from the devs "as alkon satisfied his curiosity earlier" and was wondering how far both of them were through the mission system, and if they had an ETA in mind. He didnt state: I want to know directly how far xxx and xxx have progressed. Give me a ETA. This is demanding, the other is enquiring if the devs have some time to answer a post nothing more.

So for all you guys cool down a bit and take a chill pill :D. He just asked for some information, where in the boardrules is stated that he cant ask for them. Nowhere, so cut him a break and act nice, dont break the law of the board by being unnice. It is after all a enquiring forum, if people dont wanna answer then they wont post, so if you odnt like what people state or say or post then dont post something that states that you dont like what they ar eposting and what comes over to me as: STFU.

Either dont post or post positively. I know Im breaking this but I found it unfortunate that randomize got bashed to dead for a normal enquiry after a reply on a post by one of the devs.

Also if there wouldnt be a progress page then we would have even more posts that ask how it is progressing and all. So in reallity it aint a feature, it is a bare necessity to not have to answer the same questions and enquiries over and over to please your userbase. I agree that it is nice of them to do this, but it helps them safe time if they update it regularly, not to mention that we got used to an update at the in progress page about every 2 weeks. And it is hard breaking a habit.

Anyway, go devvies go, work your ass off :D and get us a instable one so we can work for our playtime, because aint it so that we are testing the stability of their test/engine/game in stead of to be here for fun. Its nice and all to have fun, I wouldnt have stayed as long otherwise. But at least keep that in the back of your mind. Sometimes it is better to put in a major update sooner so it can have a wider testing so all the big mistakes get fixed faster since their will be more bugreports and therefore ways to track down a mistake/error then if it was tested inhouse.

As a player/moderator I am permitted to have an opinion and to express it appropriately, as I did above. I've been with the game for a long time and have always been somewhat protective of the devs. randomize, my comments were directed less at you than at the "soon" remarks, although I initially read "...that'll do" in a tone that may have been different than you intended. My apologies for that. I do still maintain that people should ease up on the pressure a bit. It may not seem like much to you, but consider the pressures that this small company has had to withstand. It adds up.

Most games in testing are open for only a short period following updates (if at all), and then they close down until the next release. You might get a lovely message detailing what they are working on behind closed doors, or you might not hear anything until the test server access is restored. Guild has done something different and cool here in allowing so much access and interactivity. Let's try to make it hassle-free for them.

I don't need a chill pill...at 52, chill pills are the last thing I need.
To randomize, your questions coupled with your critique of FMs performance is what set me off.
To Renegade ++RIP++, the written word is like beauty...the eye of the beholder is the deciding factor in how it is received. Spinning those words after they are out there is a monumental waste of time. The writer is responsible for making themselves clear...not the reader.

Sheesh, you people all need chill pills. Vendetta is not like life support. Get a life and wait for the next update. Yes, that is "wait." As humans, we do a lot of it, get used to it. The devs have committed their lives (and fortunes) to this game thus far, let's cut them some slack. They'll get it done when they can, and not a moment sooner. Updating the In Progress Page, adding a search function to the forums, or remaking the forums all take away from their task--to transform Vendetta into a sellable and scalable piece of merchandise.
