Whilst fooling with the 'dev frig', a1k0n decided to cap the NT's flag.

See it here:

(The only weapon?...the dreaded 'fly swatter' !!)

Happens to all ships that have the flag, my guess is it messed up on the frigate.

I didn't see him until after he had the flag...was it normal (like 16's) before he was 'haloed'?

a1k0n is awesome! Although, with such power, can't he just apppear right on top of the flag anyway then DevWarp home?

/me thinks of the possibilities

really why can't he just teleport himself to s3, get the flag and teleport to s2? (probably he just wants to have fun, lol)

heh, would be funny if he could warp all three nation flags to sector 7 while we're all there... that'd be one MAJOR war

Blues would triumph, they have the advantage of being 1 jump away from one of their sectors.

oh yea... heh
sector nine then, perhaps

you know.. they said it was nearly impossible to drive the frigate.. even with the dev engine... what modifications did you guys make to be able to fly the frigate?
Feb 29, 2004 roguelazer link
I think they gave it a super-low mass and an engine with very low torque.

rogue, that.. doesn't make any sense. no. its mass is pretty huge, but its rotational inertia is really really huge, so we use an engine with 100x the spin torque of an unreal engine. if you fit that engine to a normal ship, it goes out of control very quickly.

Okay... so I was backwards...
