Software license

Mar 06, 2004 RelayeR link
According to the license, because I've downloaded the software for my Mac at home, I can't download a PC copy for work? Are 'copy' and 'download' synonimous in this case? Am I interpreting this correctly, devs or FM?

"2.1.1 Rights. Customer may install and use one copy of the SOFTWARE on a single computer, and except for making one back-up copy of the Software, may not otherwise copy the SOFTWARE. This LICENSE of SOFTWARE may not be shared or used concurrently on different computers. "

This is a moot post at this time...the comp at work will not support Vendetta. An upgrade is coming soon so I would still like to know the answer.

They just copy/pasted from a real EULA, I really think they should revise it...*winkwink*

This is a beta test - I have several boxes (A few macs, some linux boxes (innumerable personal, 1 laptop and 2 servers), and 1 windows). I play on the windows, bugtest on the mac's and linux after each release, and do preformance tests on the macs.

If I violate the EULA by this (which I may in FACT, but not in the spirit of beta testing), then I must truly apologize.

It's pretty common knowledge that people have Vendetta running on a few different machines they own, and the devs never expressed any concern. I don't wanna put words in their collective mouth, but I'd say one man with 3 OSs running on a variety of machines is great in the spirit of the test. RelayeR gets 1000 Steve points.

Magus...when you get as old as I am, you probably will have a job where you can play Vendetta.

electric27...thx for the "Steve points"...I will use them wisely.

FM...thx for doing such a good job. The rude message was gone before I checked the thread again!

Devs...I'd still like an 'official' answer, please.
