thank you for your post. At first, I want to make clear that participating in CtC is *not* against VPR rules.

Coming to that incident: I always followed the policy that i return
the CtC cargo to the nation it belongs to. So, I shot the serco transport, accidentally. After that I tried to make sure that the nation the cargo belongs to gets their rights. I cannot see any inconsistency in this behavior.

I would also like to say I have never seen a transport accidently killed, i would like to know exactly what you mean, 1 stray flare wont do it.

Don't worry about it. Maso claims he can justify every action he does in the game. Though personally I'd trust Serpentine more.

You can accidentally kill a transport

I ALMOST accidentally killed a stray Itani sepios in pelatus the other day, i was floating around killing an apparently neverending string of itani NPC traders.. and it popped in, so i shot it with a bunch of rockets. (i've found the NPC's make great targets for practicing rocket aim.. I'm getting better at deflection shots)

I noticed it wasnt an atlas just in time to avoid the last volley, after all i didnt want to haul that stupid xith all the way back to pyronis and i just cant make myself dump it in an empty sector. :)

Well actually he mentioned to me that he does but only from axia and (probably) Corvus. I know that's not what he said in the chat transcript but he is semi-correct in that he can't buy them just anywhere. He can probably get them from Orion too seeing as he flies a Rev C sometimes.

Maso. If you noticed I didn't make any judgments about the incident in question. I just repeated what you said to me yesterday. That you can justify anything you do in the game. I added my personal opinion that I'd trust Serpentine more than I'd trust you.

@softy2: Despite the off-topicness (I really wonder what logic - if there is any - is driving your heads): I have heavy lvl 7. With heavy 7 you cannot get flares officially. Only recently (and maybe even you guys are able to understand that certain things might change as the time advances) I found out that there are places where can get them if you are liked there. The only place, as far as i know, where I can get sunflares atm, are the axia stations (i cannot get them at corvus stations, maybe lack of standing).

So, publish your transcripts. It won't exhibit any contradictions to anything I have claimed so far. I have no reason to fear your "accusations". And Martin, btw., I cannot get flares at Orion stations.

Martin's reply is also faulty: when i talk to ppl i refer to incidens, i have actually witnessed. what BLAK members are doing here, is just bullshitting around without even knowing what they are talking about. but that's typical for this lot.

if you can't tell a transport from an Atlas at attack range, and don't notice the different color of your target, and don't check your HUD, and don't read 201 or 202, and there were no bots and no guards, sure, I have no problems seeing how this can happen.

which was created in the end of March. Things have quite changed in between (yeah I have levelled). And in particular I got good axia standing. I guess telling stories that are at most 10 % true is part of your business....I think it is hard endure and the question I raised above was meant absolutely serious in view of your cheap behaviour.

I really want to post the chat transcript here. I won't however until a few others give me approval. Anyway the event that we are referring too, where you claim not to be able to get sunflares, occured on the 26th April.

Now I am quite able to sit in a sector with VPR's and happily chat. However I am also able to become what you make us out to be and start ganking VPR's without warning. You, Maso, are close to being an exception to my "hail first" rule, as I feel everyone should be treated the way they treat other players.

Yes I shoot people in the back, very rarely, and only if they've deserved it in some way. (with the exception of Ote Korus whom I did do wrong by and apologize to) I don't believe I've ever denied shooting people in the back.

Yes BLAK has standard and we try to stick by them. There will always be breaches of these standards because that is the way of things. We do however try to uphold them and I think very few people have an issue with us.

My gripe is not with the VPR's however. For the most part I think they're great. My attitude is that if you want to run around, calling people names and generally being rude to them as a player, not as a roleplayer, then you can't complain when people treat you badly in response. If you don't want to be responsible for your actions in the game and can't own up to when you've done something that others would perceive as wrong then perhaps you should.

If you can fight and do reasonably well then "the lag made me do it" isn't a valid excuse.

Hehe, do you really want to go back to all out war? Right now we are at more ot less of a stale mate but um yes if that is the way you want it that is the way it can be your call.

I my self would like to know what a VPR was doing pirating NPCs? After all they are traders too, I mean I started out with NPCs and then moved on to people.
