I'll agree with Jes on that.

I was on what I thought to be an easy trade run to make some quick cash. Actually read the news for a change. As soon as I entered Latos, I started taking quite a bit of damage. Some strange name "Gavan" kept showing up on my screen in red. Luckily I was in the Uber-Armored Moth, and quickly hit turbos and dropped some mines (SOOO glad I thought of taking mines). Gavan put up one hell-of-a chase! Followed me throught at least 5 sectors, including a station for us both to repair, a wormhole jump through sedina, 5 or more sectors and another station to repair and reload...
Lucky for me he soon logged (to go to work) and I was safe to continue my route.

Hats off to being pirated again, it was the most fun I've had in weeks!
Next time I may bring a few crates of helio to jettison out of respect...
(that just made me a target...damn)

I was so glad to see a pirate in greyspace, I actually turned back and fought him. Kicked my butt, he did, but it was something I was missing.

In fact, I'm considering exchanging my Moths for centaurs, just so the pirates have a realistic chance of capturing me... NOT.
