Homage to the Greatest, Most Powerful Alpha/Beta Guild - The Serco Fighters!

Serco Commander - UncleDave
Serco Leader - Grim Battol
Serco Fighter 1 - Bacix Tenra
Serco Fighter 2 - Jarlaxle
Serco Fighter 3 - Scavenger
Serco Fighter 4 - damien
Serco Fighter 5 - hanswocht
Serco Fighter 6 - Pegasus
Serco Fighter 7 - purple prune
Serco Fighter 8 - Kojo
Serco Fighter 9 - Watson
Serco Fighter 10 - Tradeship1

While individually each pilot may not have been the best and greatest as far as sheer skill went, the teamwork demonstrated by the SFs showed that personal skill is not the whole story. From thoroughly trouncing Phoenix 9 times out of 10 and other Itani/Neutral Vets to repeatedly capping them and redeeming Serco's flag score to taking over entire sectors and denying access to non-Serco, the SFs were good times. While having only 12 members, every one of them was always active and actively contributing to maintaining a cohesive fighting force.

Yes, the guild was purely nationalistic, but imagine the tactical effectiveness of four or five Promethei and Valkyries working together in conjunction with Icarus. :-D Sometimes I wish there was a guild out there that purely promoted tactical teamwork in PVPing.

Long live INM!

INM?!?!?!? pfft, SAW owned them almost in every battle

That was a pretty boring story.

One of these days I will take the time and type out a vaguely accurate history of the syndicate. That'll be fun. Yep. Carry on.

Blacklight, we ex-SAW guys were little more than bait. Sure, we got kills, but we were usually outnumbered 8 or 9 to 1. We may not have died often (exception *ahem* Icarus), but we were not "powerful" in the way that the SF were. Nor were INM, they were too n00b.

But what about the SDF?

ROFL

hey the SDF had a few good pilots and a psychotic delisional glory seeking commander, I swear there were days i was severely tempted to lock Black 1 in a cargo pod and jettison him about 175K out from the center of sector 17.

TFV traders kicked all your asses :P

All of you are wrong! Station nuking and station l-mining were the two most powerful forces of the Alpha...

Actually, I think money-bugging was. Who else single-handedly caused the zeroing of everyone's account? :D

/me grins

SAW was funded by the money-bug?!? Never!!!

the SDF were fine, we did need more members, but like spell said, we did have some good people. but our cmdr was FUBAR, he would declare things... but never did them : \

Trust me, between me, Bacix, Grim, TS1, Scavenger and Kojo, we had the fighting expertise as well as the teamwork.

Say what you like, we wiped the floor with Itani.
