Can I pirate the miners and the traders?
We are mercs. If someone pays us to pirtate, we will pirate
No offense intended, but shouldn't you get slightly better levels before becoming the organizing force behind a guild?

What a waste of caps lock.

Okay, I'll delete my earlier post. It was a bit of undeserved venom from another conversation oozing into this one. I apologize.
I don't have to be a veteran to organize a guild, just need to know some veterans who wanna join, which I do.
This is what it translates to.
"I don't care who you are, what you do, I just want to make a guild. Hell, I don't even care about the name, so long as I'm leader."

imagine getting the same welcome when you wanted to make a guild...
besides asking costs nothing except the fear of getting rejected
not to mention that vendetta is a world of alts... who says he is a 'REAL' newbie [TM] and not another alt hmmm...
PS: telling that you didn't ever see his forumaccount doesn't count, since we have a previous encounter with one of yodas incarnations.

Lotta people mentored Lahmi who at the time would have swore he was new.
Go ahead and open up a new serco-only guild. Soon there will be more guilds than serco players.
I have nothing against a new guild per se, but overall I think that there are too many guilds at the moment, and not enough players.

he ain't making a serco only guild... he is making a guild of mercs... he doesn't care about who joibns his guild as long as they wanna play as a merc...
I have a few issues with yet another guild. We already have a merc guild, if you want to be a merc you should join them. Secondly, if you had a great backstory as to why we needed another merc guild I could get behind it, but all you give your prospects is "New guild, all are welcome, do as you like". I think UncleDave summed it up nicely, "I don't care who you are, what you do, I just want to make a guild. Hell, I don't even care about the name, so long as I'm leader."
More guilds at this point is just a waist of time, and divides the player pool even thinner then it already is.

Guys! moldyman doesn't deserve this hostility. I think it's great he wants to start his own guild, it shows vision and drive. Why can't there be two competing merc guilds? The mechanism for creating a guild is already in place, so if he can find enough people to help him start one, more power to him. He may end up joining one of the existing guilds anyway in the long run, so don't belittle him for wanting to start something new.
moldyman, I wish you the best of luck.

I did not intend to sound hostile, simply trying to show why I don't think it's a good idea. Right now, it seems like there are no more then 3-4 members of any one guild on at a time, where there could be more like 8-12 if there were not so many guilds. Plus, good guilds are those that have a strong idea or mission and stick to it. All I read was vague killing, which you can easily do by yourself.
Read again, it's a guild with people of multiple trades for hire. "Merceneries", but also traders and miners, etc. Hirable players to do stuff for you. Not vague killing.
So who's the other merc guild?
If it's outdated, it might be good to start another.
