BLAK Sponsored Station War
As some of you may be aware, the Strike Forces and station guards in Sedina are, well, on strike. (Some dispute about hazard pay for Hive encounters or something or other... Punk unions....) I figure, why not have some fun with it!
In that spirit, BLAK will be sponsoring a Station War in Sedina D14 on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 11:30pm GMT (6:30pm central). The war will be 40 minutes long. Station War is scheduled this late so as not to conflict with the Ultimate Capital Ship Battle.
All participants should assemble in Sedina D14 by 6pm and message to register with Tumblemonster. Join Station War channel 1706 to avoid cluttering 100. Your kills will be counted at registration, and again at the conclusion of the battle. The person with the most kills will be the winner.
REVISED RULES:
1. NO SEEKING WEAPONS: This means no missles of any kind. Unguided rockets are fine.
2. NO LIGHTNING MINES: Proximity Mines and Concussion mines are permitted, but as Shape said, L-Mines will be too much.
3. Station War is free-for-all.
4. Combatants must stay within a reasonable distance from the station. You may home at any station you wish, but combat should take place close to the station. That is the point, after all!
4. PRIZES:
1st Prize - 4 million credits
2nd Prize - 1 million credits
3rd Prize - 500,000 credits

eh, as much as I like the idea of lmining stations, it will quickly get out of hand. especially if everyone has to stay within 2000 m. EVERYONE will bring a centaur with mines, Also, how are you going to check that everyone stays within 2000 m of the station? the only way to do that would be to be AT the station, and if you're at the station, the lmines are going to wax you too.

I agree. Lmines are banned from the fight. As far as 2000 meters goes, I'll have to trust that everyone will fight near the station. It's more fun in close!

if most people are within 2K, anyone outside that won't get the kills to win anyway. =)
