Here's a few screenies from the most recent "Traditional" Capship Battle where the ships had to make their way from the individual Capitals to Sedina B-8:

The Sola has suffered a LOT of damage from Ion storms and asteroids before hitting this LAST storm in Sedina, with the new Bot AI. Unfortunately this one had a queen. Only constant repairing and blind luck saved us.

I still don't see how a queen can do that much damage to a capship ???

Neither do I fooz. The Queens were created to gather resourses and defend said resourses from small bands of pirates not a full scale military incursion.

capship = huge, slow moving target stuck in ion storm for a fair amount of time

even with just a sectorful of assault bots, the cappie can take some heavy damage... it should be no sprise that a queen and her regal escort can do a lot... though, in all fairness, it shouldn't be that hard to nix the queen and empty the sector when you have acap ship at your disposal.

There's a bug in hitting targets with the beams right now, or so I've heard.
