I muxt say when i first started the game i only read the general forum. It took me at least 4 months to start reading the RP forums. Not sure why though i guess i just thought the information i would need to understand the game would be in general.

But if you look at the names of the people who responded you don't see that many new people do you. Maybe we should say: "Newer players rarely read the RP forums."

What the hell else would I read RE VO? Maybe news... pretty slim pickings there, though.

That there's little actual RPing in the forum has nothing to do with reading them or not. The ego trips, cat-calls, veiled insults and outright flames are amusing to behold.

I've already said earlier there was a lack of RP in this game, wich prompted the Toine experiment.

Although the culminating event wasn't so much of a success, the RP experiment was.

My conclusions: RP has a place in VO and it can be used to drive gameplay forward.

All the VO forums are in my 'nothing to do at work, lets look at what's going on in VO' routine :)

I have a similar routine at work, tkjode, 'xcept mine doesn't call for me to be without nothing to do. Work can wait for VO!
