Hmm i don't think it was me but now I'm really tempted. What if someone were to beat you 3/3. Would you cease smack talk and pay them 1million creds?

ananzi, your offer frankly sucks. If you want material goods to be included in the bet, you'd better offer them yourself. I'm not gonna risk 1 mil (which I'd have to obtain first, since as of right now I've got a whopping 250k) unless I'm sure of getting the same sum if I win.
I'd be much more open to negotiation if the bets were equal, LIKE I SUGGESTED IN THE FIRST PLACE. Right now, if I win, you take a minor blow to your pride, but if you win, I lose 4 cap ship battles worth of cash.
Hardly seems fair, does it?
I suggest something along the lines of:
Dark Knight wins 2/3: Ananzi shuts up for a month
Dark Knight wins 3/3: Ananzi shuts up for a month and pays 1 mil
Ananzi wins 2/3: Dark Knight shuts up for a month
Ananzi wins 3/3: Dark Knight shuts up for a month and pays 1 mil (of course, if you DON'T achieve this level of victory, even if I have to shut up for a month, I'm sure plenty of people will be talking about how you're NOT the hottest pilot out there...)

Anyway, here's some rules for our little battle (these are copied from the wiki's dueling etiquette, with a few minor changes):
1) Opponents must have a starting distance of 2000m. Premature starts can result in a resetting of distance or a forfeit of said duel.
2) Any requests as to ship type/weapon loadout from either side must be honored. (Within reason, of course...)
3) Docking to rearm/repair and warping out of a sector are regarded as a loss for that pilot.
4) A suicide in any form, be it from collision or self inflicted damage is regarded as a loss for that pilot.
5) If at any point a ship not involved in the duel fires on or damages any ship, the duel will be aborted and moved to a new sector.
6) NO SPAMMING.
A few days before the battle, we'll send each other our levels and decide on ships and weapons.
Oh, and BTW, I seriously doubt that the only way to beat you is by cheating and/or lag, unlike what you kept saying while you were battling MonkOfAkan.

3. if you define 'spamming' exactly only then can you ban it. i consider monk of akan a rocket spammer, ghost to be a neutron III spammer, and several other players to be AGT spammers.
4. 750,000 not 1 million credits

Quit your whining ananzi. You lose almost everytime to me. I lose to you too and I freely admit it. No cheatong or lag on either side, just you being an ass.
it will take you more than 'a few days' to get the same weapons that i have, we will have to have some consideration of what to do about fairness. for example: i can get a rail Mk3, you cant get that until you get 100 player kills. but in combat, its hard to tell the difference between a mk3 and a mk1. so should we ban rails all together?
Hmm... Perhaps. We'll see after I do some leveling.
