The Eternal Struggle
"Some that just kills stuff is nothing more then a killer. A warrior has honor in combat, grace in the face of his enemies, humor when there is tension, and pride in his or her self. This is not me.
I don't care how the job is done, just that it's done. I'm not a warrior, I'm a killer. I kill for the Serco nation, honor or no honor, its about getting the job done, and getting it done fast and properly. My call name is A-Dawg, my real name is only known by few. If I gave it out, I'd probably find myself dead in a matter of weeks. Besides, I like my call name better, it feels comfortable now that it has been used for so many years.
I was born on Serco Prime, head planet of the Serco Dominion in Sol II. My father was a ranking government official on SkyCommand. From there I enlisted in the Serco military at the earliest chance. I have no defining external augmentations, mostly biological enhancements like increased strength and agility. Part of my brain is cybernetic that way I can interface with computer terminals quite easily. Binary codes sound just as real as my own voice.
I like to fly my ship of choice, the Prometheus Mk III without the neural attachment, using the manual controls instead. I feel more alive gripping the controls with my hands than simply staring out the window secured in crash netting.
About 6 months ago, Commander Sarkon aproached me and asked to assemble a misfit team of Serco members into a fighting unit, code named the "Serco Cadre of Armed Renegades" or SCAR. SCAR is meant to be a highly mobile assault force meant to train members old and new in all areas the Serco Dominion is interested in. Mainly that being space superiority combat.
I was assigned to work with Ote Koris, to put this new guild together. We decided SCAR needed to be something new, something that shouldn't follow military procedure. Since Sarkon had given us full reign on all guild matters we went about our work. From there, many of our members have moved on, more have stayed with us. SkyCommand isn't worried with us about following "honor" or discipline, we're there to get the job completed. If it was about honor, and being a gentleman during war, we'd get nothing done.
Speaking of Gentelmen during war, it's a contradictory statement, There are no winners in war, only losers. My cybernetically enhanced mind by defualt keeps track of all the kills I've made, in space or not. It's impossible for me to forget all the faces and ships I've seen explode. But I've learned not to care, if they stand in my way, or the way of the Dominion, they should consider themself dead. Lady Serco does not stop, and neither shall I.
Enough for now, I have to get a good rest. Big day ahead most likely.

On the contrary. He explicitly states that he only refers to himself. I firmly believe in honour in combat if applicable. In a duel, honour is a must. In a war, honour is a waste. That is, if brutally simplified, my view of a warrior.

He states that he only kills, and does not care who it is. Thus one could compare his profession (in-game) to the concept of a 'pariah' since he kills without discern, but also bears the consequences.

Nice justification for a gank/spam PK oriented guild. Which is fine don't get me wrong, that is in fact legitimate RP. But SCAR members should not expect any better treatment from the rest of VO.
